Due to high demand, online booking of a timed entry ticket is strongly recommended.
Duration of the visit: Allow approximately 1 hour for the 1.5 km route.
The Catacombs of Paris consist of 131 steps to descend and 112 steps to ascend.
The Catacombs of Paris are not accessible to people in wheelchairs or using a walker due to the underground constraints of the site.
For reasons of site conservation, it is forbidden to eat or drink on the tour route, and it is strictly forbidden to access the site in possession of alcoholic beverages (cans, bottles and any other container).
It is forbidden to touch the bones, which are the fragile remains of millions of Parisians.
For safety reasons and to preserve the ossuary, it is forbidden to enter the Catacombs with a suitcase, a large bag, or a motorcycle helmet . Only bags measuring 40x30x20 cm are permitted. They must be carried in front or by hand.
Strollers are not allowed either. Please bring a baby carrier .
Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
