Teamfight Tactics at EWC 26 marks the third year the game has been featured at the Esports World Cup, following Wolves Esports’ 2024 victory and Weibo Gaming’s 2025 championship.

Unlike most TFT competitions, this event uses a team-based format where players work together in coordinated squads before advancing through the standard group and playoff stages.

Players are challenged with a mix of strategy, tactical positioning, and resource management. Champions from League of Legends each bring unique abilities, and building the right team composition is essential. Synergies between units, combined with Augments, create opportunities to outmaneuver opponents.

Every match unfolds over seven rounds, testing players’ ability to adapt, plan, and make every gold and champion count.At the competitive level, only players who can master TFT’s intricate mechanics rise to the top.
