CS2 at EWC 26 marks the third year of Counter-Strike competition at the Esports World Cup.

Following title wins by Natus Vincere in the first year and Team Vitality in the second, the world’s top teams return to compete for the championship in a tournament that highlights Counter-Strike’s highest level of play.

Counter-Strike 2 is a round-based tactical shooter in which teams take turns attacking and defending bomb-sites. Meanwhile, they must manage a team economy from which they buy all their weapons, armor, and utility. The game features a variety of different maps with many potential strategies, emphasizing precise aim and intelligent teamplay to win.

CS2's esports scene continues to thrive through deep rivalries and an experienced global fan base.
