1. NOTICE TO ALL ATTENDEES
1.1 These Ticket and Entry Conditions (“Conditions”) form an agreement between the Esports World Cup Foundation (“EWCF”) and any person who:
(a) holds a valid ticket to attend the Esports World Cup or any related match, tournament, event for function administered by EWCF (each an “Event”);
(b) has a right to attend any Event; and/or
(c) enters any Esports World Cup venue, boulevard or festival area (each a “Venue”).
1.2 Each such person (“You”) agrees to be bound by these Conditions and must ensure that any person under 18 years of age (or otherwise incapable of giving consent) for whom You purchase or provide a ticket, or who accompanies You to an Event, also complies with these Conditions.
1.3 These Conditions are intended to ensure a safe, secure and enjoyable environment for all attendees and participants.
2. TICKETING PLATFORM AND APPLICATION OF TERMS
2.1 Tickets for Events are sold via EWCF’s authorised ticketing partner, Platinumlist.
2.2 The purchase, payment, delivery, cancellation, refund and chargeback of tickets are governed exclusively by Platinumlist’s terms and conditions.
2.3 These Conditions govern entry to, attendance at, conduct within, and enforcement at all Venues.
2.4 In the event of any inconsistency between these Conditions and Platinumlist’s terms:
(a) Platinumlist’s terms prevail in relation to ticket purchase, payment, refunds and chargebacks; and
(b) these Conditions prevail in relation to entry, conduct, safety, integrity, media, recording and enforcement.
2.5 If enabled, the ticket transfer feature allows ticket holders to securely transfer their ticket(s) to another person via the official event app, subject to any conditions or restrictions set by the organisers.
3. GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
You agree:
3.1 to have in Your possession at all times a valid ticket and/or accreditation and to produce it upon request;
3.2 to verify Your identity by presenting valid government-issued identification upon request;
3.3 to submit to security screening at any time, including searches of Your person, bags or belongings. Refusal may result in denied entry or ejection without refund;
3.4 to comply with all lawful and reasonable directions and procedures of EWCF, Venue management, security staff and authorised officials;
3.5 that entry is subject to capacity limits, safety requirements and operational considerations;
3.5 that re-entry to Venues may be permitted subject to operational, security and capacity requirements;
3.6 that EWCF may impose dress codes or other Event-specific requirements;
3.7 not to resell tickets for more than face value and not to use tickets for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes without EWCF’s prior written consent;
3.8 that playing areas, competition stages, back-of-house and technical areas are out of bounds unless EWCF provides written authorisation.
3.9 Re-entry is permitted, subject to presentation of a valid ticket and/or wristband. Wristbands are non-transferable and will not be replaced if lost or removed.
4. ITEMS PROHIBITED AND PERMITTED AT THE VENUE
4.1 PROHIBITED ITEMS
You must not bring into the Venue:
(a) Weapons or dangerous objects of any kind, including any firearms, weapons, knives, blades, scissors,chains or any other item that could be used as a weapon.
(b) Hazardous materials such as fireworks, flares, smoke devices, pyrotechnics, laser pointers, aerosols, mace or pepper spray;
(c) Projectiles including balls, frisbees, drones, remote-controlled devices, inflatables (unless permitted as part of audience performances) or throwable items;
(d) Noisemakers including air horns, vuvuzelas, megaphones or sirens;
(e) Illegal drugs or substances. Prescription medication must be in original packaging and match the bearer’s ID;
(f) Laptops, tablets or larger electronic devices (unless authorised for professional purposes) or devices capable of unauthorised data capture, transmission or analysis;
(g) Professional photographic or video equipment without accreditation, including detachable lenses over 10 cm, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks or drones;
(h) Unauthorised merchandise, marketing, promotional or advertising materials;
(i) Skateboards, scooters, bicycles or other personal transport devices;
(j) Strollers or prams inside seating areas. Designated storage is available outside the gates; use at your own risk.
(k) Animals, except certified service animals;
(l) National flags or any material, banner or signage displaying any national flag; and
(m) Clothing, banners or signage or materials that are offensive, political, religious, discriminatory, commercial or culturally inappropriate.
4.2 PERMITTED ITEMS
You may bring into the Venue:
personal, non-commercial use only.
Refillable water bottles (up to 1L, non-glass).
Small consumer power banks (<100 Wh).
Banners not exceeding 2 m × 1.5 m, subject to content rules and prior approval where required.
Costumes that do not conceal identity and are not offensive or commercial.
Certified service animals.
Outside Food and Beverage, including infant and medically necessary items. Alcohol policies are subject to venue rules and local law.
4.3 EWCF reserves the right to prohibit any item not expressly listed where EWCF reasonably considers the item to pose a safety, integrity or operational risk.
5. BAGS AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS
5.1 Each person may bring one personal bag not exceeding 45 cm × 35 cm × 20 cm (Approximately 40L).
5.2 Suitcases, large duffel bags and hard-sided cases are prohibited.
5.3 Medical and infant care bags are permitted following inspection. Please contact Guest Services in advance to facilitate entry.
5.4 All bags are subject to inspection at security checkpoints.
5.5 EWCF does not provide storage for non-compliant items.
5.6 Confiscated items will not be stored or returned.
6. BANNERS, FAN DISPLAYS AND COSTUMES
6.1 Banners, fan displays and costumes supporting national teams or clubs are permitted provided that they:
(a) are made of fabric or other non-rigid material;
(b) do not exceed 2 metres × 1.5 metres;
(c) do not include poles, sticks or rigid supports; and
(d) do not obstruct signage, aisles, exits or the view of other attendees; and
(e) do not display any national flag.
6.2 Banners, signage and costumes must not contain any political, religious, commercial, discriminatory, offensive or culturally inappropriate content. Any such items may be confiscated.
6.3 Rigid signs are prohibited unless expressly approved in writing by EWCF and, if approved, must not exceed A3 size.
6.4 Banners containing slogans, messaging or coordinated displays must be authorised in advance by EWCF.
6.5 Items intended for fan choreographies, tifos or coordinated crowd displays must be submitted to EWCF for approval no later than one (1) week prior to the Event.
6.6 EWCF reserves the right to remove or confiscate any banner or display that does not comply with these Conditions or that EWCF reasonably considers to pose a safety, operational or integrity risk.
6. RECORDING, MEDIA AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 You must not, without EWCF’s prior written consent:
(a) live stream, co-stream, rebroadcast or transmit any images, audio, data, results or commentary from the Venue;
(b) collect, extract, analyse or transmit gameplay data, audiovisual feeds, player communications or competition information;
(c) use any recording (including photographs, video, data or sound recordings) for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of EWCF.
6.2 Personal photography and short video clips are permitted for private, non-commercial use only.
6.3 Notwithstanding Clause 6.2, if You upload, publish or disseminate any user generated content taken or made inside the Venue to a social media or any digital media platform (“User Generated Content”), You consent to the commercial exploitation, throughout the world, of that User Generated Content by any means (including, without limitation, by re-sharing or re-posting such content) by EWCF and its commercial partners without compensation on a perpetual, irrevocable and worldwide basis;
6.4 You consent to:
(a) the recording of Your image, likeness and voice by any means; and
(b) the perpetual, irrevocable (to the extent permitted under applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), worldwide, royalty-free commercial use of such recordings by EWCF, its affiliates and commercial partners without compensation.
6.5 EWCF is the sole owner of all intellectual property relating to the Events, including gameplay feeds, competition data, audiovisual productions and derivative works.
7. INTEGRITY, BETTING AND FAIR PLAY
7.1 You must not:
(a) engage in betting, wagering or gambling activities from within the Venue;
(b) collect, transmit or exploit competition data for betting or commercial purposes;
(c) improperly influence, or attempt to influence, the outcome, conduct or integrity of any Event.
7.2 EWCF may investigate suspected integrity breaches and may share relevant information with publishers, integrity bodies, regulators and law enforcement authorities.
8. BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT
8.1 You must not engage in conduct that threatens, offends, insults, intimidates, harasses or discriminates against any person.
8.2 You must not throw objects, enter competition areas, disrupt Events or interfere with the enjoyment of other attendees.
8.3 You must not engage in indecent, abusive, aggressive or disorderly behaviour.
8.4 You must remain in your assigned seating and follow all instructions issued by Venue staff.
8.5 You must not smoke, vape or use e-cigarettes inside the Venues and all seating areas. Designated smoking areas may be provided outside.
9. HEALTH, SAFETY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
9.1 Attendance at Events involves inherent risks, including injury, exposure to loud noise, bright or flashing lights, crowd movement and environmental conditions.
9.2 You voluntarily assume all such risks and agree that EWCF is not responsible or liable for injuries or losses except to the extent required by applicable law, including the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
10. ENFORCEMENT AND SANCTIONS
10.1 Without limiting any other rights, if You contravene any of these Conditions, EWCF may:
(a) refuse entry to or eject You without refund;
(b) confiscate or cancel tickets without refund or recompense;
(d) issue bans from current or future Events; or
(e) take legal action or refer matters to authorities.
10.2 Enforcement actions may be taken even where a valid ticket has been purchased via Platinumlist.
11. PRIVACY AND SURVEILLANCE
11.1 Venues are monitored by CCTV, body-worn cameras and other security systems.
11.2 Personal data is processed in accordance with EWCF’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations.
11.3 By attending the event, ticket holders acknowledge and agree that photographs and video recordings may be taken by the official event photographer and/or production team and used by organisers and authorised partners for editorial and promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and event-related promotional content.
12. REFUNDS AND LIABILITY
12.1 Ticket refunds are governed exclusively by Platinumlist’s terms.
12.2 EWCF is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including travel or accommodation costs, except as required by law.
12.3 In the event of overcapacity, EWCF may provide alternative seating or viewing options and may refund the original ticket price, applied at EWCF’s discretion, if no reasonable alternative is available. A designated ticket office will be available for support.
13. AMENDMENTS
13.1 EWCF may amend these Conditions where reasonably necessary to address legal, safety or operational requirements, provided that such amendments do not materially prejudice the rights of ticket holders.
